Flies come in many shapes and sizes. The most common are the small fruit fly, and the larger house fly. Flies present a challenging situation for any pest control professional. While the control strategy must involve a sanitation regime, a good pest control technician can be invaluable in the process. The typical fly control method starts with killing all active flies present at the time. I treat lower perimeter, behind appliances, and vertical fly resting sites. I identify breeding sites and treat those sites with growth regulator. I also make recommendations for an ongoing sanitation program. During peak fly season, weekly service is recommended.
